Hannah & Ady - Staunton Harold || Boutique Wedding Photography, England UK

Last year I got to photograph along side the amazing Katie, from Katie Goff Photography. She's an old school friend who moved down to Cornwall for University and never came back to the Midlands - I don't blame her, it's such a beautiful part of the UK. She had a wedding booked in for back home, at the most amazing venue and asked if I'd like to work along side her so I jumped at the chance!

Meet Hannah and Ady.

My day started off by photographing the guys getting ready at their home in a small village on the outskirts of Melbourne in Derbyshire. This was the first time that I had photographed the Groomsmen prep, with their being two photographers it was an ideal scenario to a take a trip to their home. It was the opposite of photographing the Bridal prep. The only bit that the boys had to do together were put on their ties and buttonholes, but they still managed to run behind schedule, so their trip to pub on the way to Melbourne Church was out of the question.

Hannah is the nanny of the beautiful family that live at the Staunton Harold Estate in Derbyshire and as it plays such a big part in her life, what better way to celebrate with their family and friends than to hold their reception there?

The love between the beautiful bride and her new husband was visible from the get go.

The exterior of Staunton Harold and the grounds are mind blowing, but when you see inside WOW! I was lucky enough to get to visit the house before the day of the wedding and got a full tour. The interior design is stunning, my favourite was the Library, it was the most creative looking room, very traditional with the walls lined with books and it was huge! Unfortunately for us, the caters had that room for serving up food, so was unable to photograph in their. Just look at the stunning dining area though with the silver candelabras.

Hannah and Adys colour theme was classic. Going for a winter based, ivy green and cream, seen in their decorations, bridal party clothing and the beautiful bouquet of flowers. The colours work so well together, what will be your colour theme?

It really was lovely to work along side such a good friend and with such a wonderful couple.

  1. Wonderful! The pictures have been captured so beautifully. Even I got married in one of the LA venues like this years ago. Nobody thought about prewedding and wedding photoshoots at that time. It is going to be 20 years to my wedding now and we are planning a huge celebration. Now, we can have a photoshoot easily.
