Mother nature is a weird and wonderful lady. She has caused the UK a week of mayhem, dubbed as Snowmageddon... however I love snow! Unfortunately I haven't had a wedding to photograph this weekend, so thought that I would take you back to December 2014. A couple of days after Christmas, when the ground was covered white in the Derbyshire Countryside, panic struck with whether we would be able to navigate the icy roads to get to Donington Park Farm House. We didn't need to worry. Snow has brought me some of my favourite ever bridal portraits. Who would ever have thought we were stood where we were, in the middle of a field close to East Midlands Airport?

It's a new year, almost in to the second month and i've still not written a blog post! What is going on?

Becky and Mike decided to have a post wedding photoshoot, with Becky in her wedding dress. It took place in the quaint village of Quorn in Leicestershire and formed part of their "Mini-Moon"; a series of day trips out for the celebration of their marriage. They are both an adventurous couple, with Becky requesting to have a water based shoot and hoping for the rain (it happened to be one of the only days we didn't have rain, typical!). Instead, we got some beautiful, relaxed photographs of the new Mr and Mrs enjoying some downtime at one of their favourite places to walk.

Bradgate Park has to be one of the most beautiful places in Leicestershire. It makes the perfect backdrop for photographs, especially engagement sessions. It's even more amazing when you can have a cup of hot chocolate and a slice of cake in the cafe too! Here we have Gem and Tim, who are due to get married in just over a year and it sounds like it will be one of the most amazing weddings, ever! Their wedding date is Halloween and the plans that they have, well, keep your eyes peeled for a blog on it, is all that I can say!
